We both skipped the morning dive, it just sounded too cold, and as it turned out, there wasn't much to see. After lunch we went to North Plaza Island for our last land tour. We walked up and around the island, seeing iguanas, sea lions and lots of birds. The color of the red vegetation, the brownish gray rocks and the bluish gray clouds in the distance was really striking.
For dinner we all went ashore and ate at "The Tick", which was actually where we ate the last time we were in the Galapagos. The meal was adequate, but did not compare to the food on board the Aggressor!
On the way back to the boat we looked through some of the small shops and found a stuffed turtle and a stuffed blue footed booby for our "stuffed animal jail" back home. At the dock Rick was ready for bed, so he flagged down a water taxi and headed back to the ship with Tim and Ken. Randy stopped to use a bit of internet access (for $1 they plugged in a wireless router for him; the network name was "default" and the password was "1234512345". LOL) and then joined the rest of the group on the "official" panga ride back to the boat.

We had a hot breakfast, chatted with the other divers, then had a ride to the airport at 8:15. Our flight to Guayaquil was at 12:45. We were staying back at the Hilton where we had a nice Italian dinner with Tim at 7pm, then headed to bed for the final day of travel home.

We had a 10:25am flight to Miami, a 4 hour layover and then a 6 hour flight back to San Francisco. We made good use of episodes of Survivor, Project Runway and Top Chef along the way, and even watched Galaxy Quest and Prince of Persia on the second flight to make the time go faster. We finally got home just after midnight. So good to be back in our own bed!
