Tim and Rick did two dives in the morning at Cousin's Rock, Randy decided to sit them out as the water was too cold (66° as opposed to 75° the day before). They saw lots of fun stuff and Rick got some great video, including three sea lions fighting over a sea star and an octopus!
After lunch we all boarded the pangas and popped over to Bartolome Island for a hike up to the top of the inactive volcano. The view from the top was awesome.
After we walked back down the mountain, we rode around in the pangas looking for pengiuns, but didn't see any. We went back to the boat where Rick and some others put on their wetsuits, while Randy and Tim stayed in shorts. One panga went to the shore with the snorkelers, the other rode across to the next island, both in search of penguins. Both pangas found some, much to our delight!
Back on board we had a full turkey dinner, and the chef made a little penguin out of yuca root to watch over the dinner spread. Very fun.
