Woke up, packed, breakfast, had a 10am van to Civita Vechia, the port about an hour from Rome. Arrived at the Celebrity Silhouette at about 12:30, only took about 15 minutes to check in. Boarded the ship for our 10 day Atlantis Cruise, found our room, a very nice suite on deck 12.

Started to explore the ship a bit. Jason and Alex boarded at about 2, we met them in their room, then continued to explore the giant ship.

Made dinner reservations, had our first drink in the Martini Bar, checked out the T-Dance by the pool or a bit. Dinner was at Qsin, a kind of crazy restaurant with a wide variety of food. We had lots of fun. At 11 we headed to the pool for the welcome aboard party.

Danced, drank and had fun until about 3, then went down to Master's Cellar, the wine bar. We were the only ones there at first, which we marveled at. Shortly a group of guys arrived and started chatting, then another group arrived, this one more trashed than the first. We talked and laughed for a while, then Rick was tired of them and we all headed back to our rooms.
