Flew from SFO to LAX. Met almost everyone there (Rick and Randy, Pete and Kevin, Fred, Denny, Tim, Matt F., Matt S., Joel, Tony). Boarded 11:30pm Air Pacific flight to Nadi, Fiji. 10 1/2 hours. Arrived 5am Saturday morning, collected bags, met bus driver. Chris and Erin were stuck at LAX, yikes! 3 hour bus ride to Suva on the other side of the island. Stopped at Westin to pick up some people, had a great brunch while we waited. 15 minute stop at a gift shop.
Arrived Tradewinds Hotel in Suva around noon. Hung out for 2 hours, boarded boat at 2pm. Met other divers: Daniel, Martin and Michael. Sam (from our Belize trip) turned out to be the captain. Unpacked and set up cameras. Dinner then 5 hour crossing. Bonine worked well for most people.
