Metro to Montparnasse station. 3hr TGV to Bordeaux at up to 200mph. Picked up Peugeot 308. Turned on Linguo.

Stopped in Saint Emilion. Continued towards Cahors. Arrived at Château de Mercues. Fantastic castle on top of a mountain.

Had dinner at the Château, delicious. After dinner drinks in the bar. Tried Armagnac.

Breakfast in the dining room. Drove through Les Arques. Continued to Domme. Great view of the surrounding countryside. Drove to Sarlat-La-Caneda. Had lunch at a cute café on the square. Little doggy in the window sill. Off to Gouffre de Padirac, giant underground cave system. Drove past Rocamadour, town carved into the side of a mountain. Back to the Château. Took a cab into Cahors for dinner. Rick ate a Matrix.
