Saturday - July 21, 2007
Weather looked better, had lunch near the hotel, then took the tube to Kew Gardens. The rain from Friday had caused lots of flooding (they got 3 months worth of rain in a few hours the day before). Trains were delayed/stopped all over. Ended up catching a cab for the last 2 miles. Had the park to ourselves. Weather was great, a few clouds, mostly blue sky. It's a huge park, over 300 acres.

Walked all over, went through first greenhouse, had lunch, sky looked gray in the distance. Went through 2 more greenhouses (all huge). Last one was nicest, it was the Princess of Wales Greenhouse. Headed out of the park as it started to rain. Caught train back to city center. Stopped at pub across the street for a snack. Back to room, Rïck napped.

Walked North to Charlotte Street to eat at Roka, great sushi place. Stopped at Ruperts on the way back to hotel. Headed out to a bar, the Hoist, in Vauxhall. Stayed for a bit, thought about a dance club around the corner, decided to head back to hotel for the night.
