Tuesday - May 15

Before breakfast the boat moved a short distance to Bus Stop, where we did our first two dives. On the first dive we saw an eagle ray hunting around in the sand. As we approached it lifted up and then swam gracefully around us. It was great to watch and Rick captured it on video.

On dive number two we saw a barracuda at a cleaning station and navigated through some really nice swim throughs, of which there were a large number.

After lunch we moved to Cayman Brac where we moored at a sunken Russian destroyer, the M.V. Captain Keith Tibbetts. It had been sunk several years before as an artificial reef. Then in 2004 a big hurricane broke it in half. The visibility was really great and it was fun diving on something so big.

We skipped the fourth dive and relaxed on the boat, then Randy did a night dive with Fred, Tim and Matt.
