On August 20th we headed to SFO for a flight to the big island of Hawaii. We were going to our friend Tiffeny's wedding to her fiancé Troy. We flew non-stop to Kona, then picked up our rental car and headed South to the Ohana Beach Resort. We checked in and had some lunch, then headed over to Paradise Point, where the wedding would be held. We said hello to many of Tiffeny and Troy's family members and chatted for a while. Then we headed back to our hotel to change for the sunset ceremony. We decided to take a cab to the wedding, no telling what condition we'd be in to drive afterwards!
The wedding took place just before sunset, with the beach in the background. It was done in the Hawaiian style, with the sound of a conch initiating the ceremony. Afterwards everyone mingled around the pool and had some food and cocktails. We ended up staying until around 9pm when some friend's of Troy's gave us a ride back to our hotel. We really enjoyed being a part of the wedding and wish Tiffeny and Troy a long and happy life together!
