Day 1
Skiing at Whistler/Blackcomb - Feb 9, 2001
Vancouver, British Columbia
Day 2

The next morning we were all tired, and we werent' sure if we felt like skiing or not. Opening the curtains decided it: it was a clear sunny day outside. We took our time getting ready, finally making it to breakfast about noon. We headed up onto the mountain around 1, and stayed until 3:30. It was a short day, but the snow and scenery were spectacular!

The view from the condo.

This house looked like a cool place to stay.

Lots of dry snow everywhere.

Rick looks kind of cold, eh?

Dense trees.

Randy getting ready to head back up the mountain.

Adien, ready to go!

Rick was convinced that this rock had been flown in from China.

So peaceful.

Adien and Daisy, start of the last run for the day.

I'm sure Adien would know what kind of rocks these are...

Wide open slopes.

Patterns in the snow.

Rick and Randy.

Look at those blue eyes!
We headed back to the condo, changed, and then had dinner at Umberto's, a very nice Italian restaurant in Whistler Village. A quick stop to buy some t-shirts, and then we said goodbye to Adien and Daisy and drove down to Vancouver where we spent the night in their house before our flight the next morning. Their house is really nice, very cozy and warm.
