Color Kinetics lighting

In the living room at the loft we recently installed a set of four 2-foot Color Kinetics iColor Fresco lights. They sit in the corners behind the plants.

These lights are each comprised of about 100 red, green and blue LEDs. The are connected to a controller box which can set each 1-foot section to any of 16-million colors, changing up to 100 times per second. Solid colors, slowly fading colors, or even pulsing or flashing, pretty much is possible with them.

One possibility is to connect the controller to the Mac Cube driving the projector, modifying the slide show software to fade to the most prominent color in the current image.
