Penguins at the Academy

We had the pleasure of attending a special event at the San Francisco Academy of Science. Rick made a donation to the penguins earlier in the year and they were having the event to thank their supporters.

Pam, the lead penguin biologist, gave a great talk for about 45 minutes. She told us all about how the penguins interact and some fun stories of their antics. They are such cute birds!

They were all active and waddling around and swimming in the tank. Such show-offs!

We also got a chance to walk around the aquarium with almost no one there, it was really nice.

And then there was this bizarre fish! He was swimming around scooping up plankton like crazy!
