This was the first year of the Tour of California bicycle race. We met our friends Adrianne, Jason and Scott at Justin Herman Plaza to watch the race. The weather was nice and sunny.
The race went down along the Embarcadero, then turned left and wrapped around Telegraph Hill up to Coit Tower.
A very large crowd turned out to cheer on the racers all along the course.
Randy had fun trying out his new camera, a Nikon D200. Now Jason wants a D-SLR too...
